Use the file manager to upload, download, rename and edit website files. Keep your public website files in the document root shown for the selected domain.
Use backups before major changes such as a theme update, application upgrade or configuration change. A backup is a recovery point; it is not a replacement for keeping an independent copy of important files and database data.
After restoring a backup, test the homepage, login, forms and email delivery.
