Create the mailbox first, for example hello@example.com. Use the mail server name shown for your domain when configuring an email application.
Choose IMAP when you want messages to stay synchronised across devices. Use SMTP for sending messages. Use the secure connection and port values shown in your account instructions.
Enter the full mailbox address as the username. If a connection fails, check the password, server name, port, encryption setting and whether the mailbox is active.
